I value learning because the more you know the more life gets easier. My strengths are dedication, responsibility, discipline, and respect. I want to work towards graduating from college and have a job set up at the end of my college experience. I would like others to see me as a dedicated person.
About Me
My name is Freddy Fabian and I'm a senior at SMSA. I'm the youngest in the senior class of 2020. I'm planning on going to UCONN at the Storrs campus to pursue a major in engineering. Both my parents are immigrants to the country which put me behind my peers in elementary because I had to learn English at school and Spanish at home. I’m grateful this was the case because now I’m fluent in both languages. Those tough times of learning set me up with a hard working mentality and not to give up when the times get tough. I remember not knowing what to do for my Capstone Project. Then I remembered how awesome it was to help out at the library so I decided to base it off of that. I made STEM projects that would expose kids to the STEM fields. I believe the best feeling is when you teach students and they get engaged in their project because it really shows that the student like to learn what you show them.
